SUPPLEMENTAL CALIFORNIA PRIVACY NOTICE

This Supplemental California Privacy Notice applies solely to California residents and supplements the information contained in Rewritten Ministries, Inc.'s Privacy Policy. This Supplemental California Privacy Notice describes how Rewritten Ministries, Inc. ("Rewritten," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information relating to California residents and describes certain rights available under California law.
This Supplemental California Privacy Notice is intended to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA").
This Supplemental California Privacy Notice does not apply to employment-related information collected from employees, applicants, contractors, interns, volunteers acting in an employment-related capacity, or other personnel.
Consumers residing outside California should refer to Rewritten's general Privacy Policy.
Personal Information Collected
Under the CCPA, "personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household. Personal information does not include:

Activity on our websites, mobile apps, or other digital systems, such as internet browsing history, search history, system usage, electronic communications with us, postings on our social media sites.
F. Geolocation data.
General location information, such as city, state, region, country, or approximate location inferred from an IP address or provided by a consumer.
G. Sensory data.
Audio recordings, photographs, videos, testimonials, stories, or similar content voluntarily provided by consumers.
H. Sensitive personal information.
Limited sensitive personal information that may be voluntarily submitted by consumers in connection with donations, registrations, inquiries, communications, testimonials, stories, comments, User Contributions, or other interactions with Rewritten.

We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:

Directly from you, including when you submit forms, inquiries, comments, testimonials, stories, User Contributions, event registrations, retreat registrations, donation information, purchase information, payment information, reservations, communications, or other information through the Website.

Rewritten does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about consumers. Rewritten requests that users do not submit confidential, sensitive, medical, mental-health, crisis-related, or similar information through public or interactive areas of the Website. To the extent a consumer voluntarily submits sensitive personal information through communications, registrations, forms, testimonials, stories, User Contributions, donations, or other Website interactions, Rewritten may collect, use, retain, and disclose that information as reasonably necessary to respond to the submission, provide requested offerings, process transactions, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or otherwise as permitted by law.
Rewritten does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about consumers and does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a California consumer's right to limit under applicable law.

We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice. If required by law, we will also seek your consent before using your personal information for a new or unrelated purpose.
We may collect, process, and disclose aggregated or deidentified consumer information for any purpose, without restriction. When we collect, process, or disclose aggregated or deidentified consumer information, we will maintain and use it in deidentified form and will not attempt to reidentify the information, except to determine whether our deidentification processes satisfies any applicable legal requirements.

Selling or Sharing Personal Information
Rewritten does not sell personal information. Rewritten does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. Rewritten does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under sixteen (16) years of age.

Right to Know, Access, and Data Portability Requests
You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information (the "right to know"), including the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you (a "data portability request"). You may exercise your right to know twice in any 12-month period. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity (see How to Exercise Your Rights), we will disclose to you:

Because Rewritten does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about consumers and does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a California consumer's right to limit, Rewritten does not currently provide a separate right-to-limit mechanism.
Personal Information Sales or Sharing Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights
Because Rewritten does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, Rewritten does not currently provide a separate opt-out mechanism for those activities.
Right to Non-Discrimination
You have the right not to be discriminated or retaliated against for exercising any of your privacy rights under the CCPA.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any California privacy rights available to you, please contact Rewritten using the contact information provided on the Website. Please describe your request with sufficient detail so that we may understand, evaluate, and respond to it. We will respond to verified requests within the time periods required by applicable California law.
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, verify your authority to submit the request, and confirm the personal information that is the subject of the request. Authorized agents may submit requests on behalf of California residents where permitted by applicable law.
Retention
Rewritten retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Supplemental California Privacy Notice and Rewritten's Privacy Policy, including operating the Website, processing donations and registrations, maintaining records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, protecting Website security, and preventing fraud. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information and the purpose for which it was collected.

We may update this Supplemental California Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make changes to this Supplemental California Privacy Notice, we will update the "Last Modified" date at the top of this notice and post the revised version on the Website.
